记者：2011年贵公司取得了哪些成就?开发了哪些新的技术，推出了哪些新的产品，获得了什么认证?
Mark Ralph：One accomplishmentis the extension of our IS017025accreditation to cover new testingcapabilities.We furthermoteupgraded our facilities for rapidmicro biological testing through PCRand acquired new equipment for theanalysis of nutritional components offood.
2011年，我们取得的成就之一是我们的IS017025认证扩项成功，涵盖新的检测能力。此外，我们对PCR检测设备进行升级以满足微生物快速检测，同时也购置了食品营养成分分析的新设备。
记者：过去的一年里，贵公司产品的销售情况，客户对产品的使用情况、好感度如何?产品在检测市场上的占有率是多少?
Mark Ralph：We survey ourcustomers on a regular basis.Thethree things our customers say aboutwhy they like our service so muchare：professionalism，efficiency，and know-how.This is how we havegained new customers since ourfoundation in Europe and also howwe have kept them loyal to us for somany years.
Since we are still a relatively newlab in China our market share growsaccordingly fast.
对于我们的客户，我们会定期开展调查。客户常常讲到他们为什么钟爱我们的服务，其中3个重要原因是：专业，效率和技术经验。这使我们能在欧洲总部建立之初就获得了新客户并且这么多年之后他们仍然还是我们忠诚的客户。
在中国我们仍然是一个相对较新的实验室，因此市场份额的增长很快。
记者：参与到食品安全检测的企业越来越多，贵公司是如何进行定位的，又是如何处理与其他企业之间的关系，从而能够脱颖而出?
Mark Ralph：Eurofins is ratherunusual as we are a completelyindependent company.There isno equity of any food company orgovernment institution.This enablesus to do our business independentlywhich leads in turn to a highercredibility in the information andresults we provide.
欧陆分析之所以如此与众不同，是因为我们是一个完全独立的公司，没有任何食品公司或政府机构的股份。这使我们能够独立地开展我们的业务，使我们提供的信息和结果在行业内拥有更高的信誉。
记者：请您总结一下2011年贵公司的整体发展状况，是否达到您的满意值或期望?在新的一年里贵公司的发展方向是否会有所调整，2012年的发展战略是什么?
Mark Ralph：We have met andexceeded our targets in 2011 andwe have not planned to adjust ourdirections.However.if there aresudden changes in the market andnew demands arise，we will addressthem in a timely matter to maintainfull customer satisfaction.One newarea which is also growing rapidly isnon-testing consultancy service likeauditing and inspections.
我们在2011年已经达到并超过了我们的目标，我们还没有计划调整我们的方向。然而，如果市场有突然变化，出现了新的要求，我们将及时处理这些问题以保持充分的客户满意度。这也是我们快速增长的一个新领域，非检测性顾问服务，如审核和检验的服务。
记者：公众对食品安全的要求不断提高，正催生一轮检测检验商机。欧陆是如何看待这一商机，又会为这一商机做什么准备?
Mark Ralph：As I alreadymentioned.due to our knowledgeand the responsibility of our positionin the food industry.we always tryto anticipate new requirements inthe food safety arena and respondpromptly to new demand s ofcustomers or the food industry itself.
正如我之前提到，由于我们的知识和我们在食品工业中所担当的责任，我们总是尝试预测在食品安全领域的新要求并及时响应客户新的需求或食品行业本身的需求。
记者：欧陆作为第三方实验室如何看待食品安全与分析检测的关系?又如何在检测过程中做到准确、公平、公正，保证检测结果的可信度?
Mark Ralph：We achieve credibility of our services due to our independenceand our know―how.With internalaudits and benchmarks of our entireportfolio against European and Chinesestandards，we make sure that we alwaysmeet the quality levels our customersexpect and deserve.
通过独立和专业的服务，我们获得了客户认可和信赖，以及我们的技术经验。每年开展中国和欧洲标准的内部审计和我们的整个投资组合的基准，确保我们总是能够满足我们的客户期望和应有的质量水平。
记者：检测认证机构纷纷在中国建立实验室，仅浙江就设立了1200多家第三方检测检验机构和实验室，请问这一现象是否说明中国的食品检测已经逐步走向成熟?在肯定食品检测重要性的同时，检测技术是否能够满足目前的需要?
Mark Ralph：Much is said aboutthird party laboratories in Chinabut we believe that a third partylaboratory should be completelyindependent from food manufacturersand government institutions.Theactual number of truly independentthird party organizations is verysmall.so we do not see muchcompetition.We do believe that ourvast experience and our internationalstandards enable us to provide asuperior service tO our customers.
在中国，大部分实验室都称其为第三方实验室，但我们认为，第三方实验室应该是完全独立于食品厂商和政府机构之外的。真正独立的第三方组织的实验室的实际数目是很少的，所以我们看不到太多的竞争。我们确信，我们丰富的经验和国际标准，使我们能够为我们的客户提供更优质的服务。
